Training and Demonstrations
The SPAB regularly run Homeowner and Builders Courses to inform delegates about the special requirements for renovating old buildings in a sympathetic manner.
Sean is a regular demonstrator for these courses. The workshop sessions are not intended to teach people how to plaster but to give them an insight into the Lime Plastering processes. He has also attended the Grand Designs Live Exhibition at London Docklands where he has demonstrated the art of running cornice in situ on the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Display stand.
He has also carried out bespoke training on site in Transylvania and Washington DC.
Bespoke training is a cost effective solution for building companies who employ experienced plasterers who now need to expand their knowledge into the use of traditional lime materials.
